Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites along the M4 corridor, including Swindon and surrounding towns. The role involves hands-on duties such as showerhead descales, water sampling, temperature monitoring and tank cleans, with opportunities to lead on projects and manage your workload.

The ideal candidate has a background in water hygiene, knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8, and flexibility to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Track record as Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit.
• Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Flexible to travel as per client needs.
• Ideally will have experience leading on projects.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Showerhead and outlet descales.
• Cold water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections.
• Flushing on little used outlets.
• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• Mains injections.
• Calorifier inspections and blowdowns.
• Chlorinations.
• Providing support and training to engineers.
• Completing regular service reports.

Due to recent expansion, our client is recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites along the M4 corridor. New client contracts include: commercial, public sector and industrial premises. The ideal candidate will hold good hands-on experience of conducting a variety of duties, including: showerhead descales, water sampling, temperature monitoring and tank cleans. Our client is seeking someone who is confident leading on projects and able to manage their own workload.
