Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Water and Asset Management Division as part of the Autumn 2027 cohort. You will contribute to water and wastewater projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams while learning through a two-year blended programme.

The role offers a permanent position after completion, a structured development path, and the chance to work on sustainable water infrastructure with mentors and experts across Sweco.

Qualifications

• Degree relevant to the role.
• Less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Can work in the UK without restrictions; this is a permanent role with career growth.

Responsibilities

• Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world water and wastewater projects across all lifecycle stages.
• Prepare reports, technical drawings, calculations and documentation.
• Support TOTEX-focused solutions to improve cost and carbon efficiency.
• Participate in project planning and management to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to meet client requirements.
• Ensure all projects adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations.
