Sweco UK Ltd seeks a Graduate Modeller to join its Water & Asset Management Division as part of the Autumn 2027 Early Careers Graduate Scheme. The role focuses on building hydraulic models, analysing wastewater networks, and improving flood resilience for communities and industries.

You will gain a two-year blended learning experience with virtual and face-to-face delivery, mentors, and structured masterclasses, leading to professional accreditation and a permanent position with benefits.

Formación

• Have a degree relevant to the role you’re applying for.
• Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Are confident using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Build and utilise hydraulic models of rivers, drainage systems and wastewater networks using industry standard software (Infoworks ICM, TUFLOW or similar)
• Analyse the performance of wastewater and drainage networks under current and future conditions, including the effects of climate change and population growth.
• Identify and assess sustainable options to improve the capacity, operation and resilience of wastewater networks
• Identify the causes of flooding and develop options to reduce flood risk
• Use GIS to analyse data and map flood extents
• Contribute to planning applications, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and presentations
