Aqua-Tech Recruitment is seeking a Water Efficiency Operative (or plumber's mate) to join a new project across Essex and Suffolk. The role involves visiting commercial sites, identifying water-saving opportunities, and installing simple devices after training.
No formal plumbing qualifications are required as full training is provided. You will travel between sites, work independently, and interact with customers daily to improve water efficiency.
Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently looking for a Water Efficiency Operative (or plumber's mate) to join a new water-efficiency project across Essex and Suffolk.
This is a practical, field-based role where you will visit our existing commercial customers, including large supermarket chains, bars, gyms and other establishments, to help identify opportunities to reduce water consumption.
You'll be visiting customer premises and checking areas such as sinks, taps, toilets and urinals to assess how efficiently water is being used. Where a simple improvement can be made, you'll be trained to install water-saving devices yourself. Where a job requires a qualified plumber, you'll identify the issue and report it to the plumbing team.
You don't need to be a qualified plumber for this role as full training will be provided. We're looking for someone practical, reliable and confident dealing with customers who is happy working independently.
