Job summary

Aqua-Tech Recruitment is seeking a Water Efficiency Operative (or plumber's mate) to join a new project across Essex and Suffolk. The role involves visiting commercial sites, identifying water-saving opportunities, and installing simple devices after training.

No formal plumbing qualifications are required as full training is provided. You will travel between sites, work independently, and interact with customers daily to improve water efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 25 or over due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Able to work independently across Essex and Suffolk.
• Comfortable using PDA/tablet-based systems and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across Essex and Suffolk using a company vehicle.
• Work independently and manage your own daily workload.
• Visit commercial premises to identify opportunities to improve water efficiency and carry out basic water audits.
• Install simple water-saving devices following training.
• Carry out accurate water meter readings and record findings.
