Job summary

Inspired PLC is seeking a Water Audit Consultant to join the Siteworksteam. This home-based role requires travel to our Kirkham (Lancashire) office and sites across the UK.

You will analyse water and wastewater bills, tariffs and consumption data to identify refunds, cost reductions and savings. The successful candidate will perform site investigations, verify opportunities, and support lifecycle from identification to submission, with clear documentation and collaboration across the Water Audit

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to review detailed billing, tariffs, consumption and customer data.
• Comfortable undertaking practical investigations at customer sites.
• Experience in water retailer, wholesaler, water consultancy, or cost-recovery environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse non-household water and wastewater bills, tariffs and charges to identify refunds and savings.
• Investigate opportunities including tariffs, surface water drainage, return-to-sewer allowances and meter/data anomalies.
• Assess commercial viability of opportunities including potential historic recovery and future savings.
• Produce clear calculations and maintain evidence trails for opportunities.
• Undertake site surveys across the UK to verify opportunities and gather evidence.
