Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Visualisation & Data Analyst to advance maintenance evaluation, build performance analysis frameworks, and deliver actionable insights across Water Supply assets.

You will lead reporting, data ownership, and risk visualization with Power BI, collaborating with subject matter experts to drive improvements and GDPR compliance. The role requires formal data science/analytics qualification, strong Power BI experience, and the ability to engage with multiple

Qualifications

• Level 3 equivalent in Data Science or Data Analytics.
• Strong operational knowledge of abstraction, treatment, transmission and storage of potable water.
• Experienced user of Power BI and data visualisation development.
• Appropriate professional qualification (e.g. CIWEM) advantageous.
• Experience in assessing risk and responding appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Visualise operational performance and risk using PowerBI and other visualisation tools.
• Develop reports with user experience in mind, gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion Cyber Security and GDPR compliance within Water Supply and the analyst community.
• Act as Power BI and visualisation expert for Water Supply, ensuring reporting adheres to standards.
• Support wider Water Business stream in automated reporting and visualising risks across team boundaries.
• Provide feedback to stakeholders to drive action plans and improvements.
• Ensure reporting drives outcomes and deliverables.
• Escalate identified operational and business risks appropriately.
• Establish data ownership and verify business acceptance of data sources.
• Develop performance measures to support maintenance reporting.
• Support teams with visual reporting to track mitigation efforts and emerging threats.
• Analyse datasets to identify patterns, trends, and risks.
• Engage with operational colleagues and subject matter experts to support and drive the performance analytics.
