Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking two Demand Reporting Data Scientists to join the Strategic Asset Management team in a hybrid role based in Huntingdon or Peterborough.

You will build models feeding regulatory reporting and consumption components, enrich Big Data Smart Meter insights, and automate data preparation to deliver actionable insights. The role emphasizes data ethics and governance with impact on water efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree-level or professional experience in data science, statistics or a quantitative field.
• Strong Python/SQL skills with experience in data preparation and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI for data discovery, modeling and visual storytelling.
• Capable of explaining complex methods to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build models for regulatory reporting and consumption metrics.
• Enhance big data consumption datasets with QA and automation.
• Develop statistical and ML models to understand consumption and leakage.
• Create data pipelines and reusable checks with data engineers.
• Collaborate with reporting teams to deliver measurable value.
