Bremont Watch Company is seeking a skilled watchmaker to join the Henley-on-Thames service centre atelier. You will service and repair luxury timepieces to Bremont specifications, using advanced workshop tools and rigorous quality controls.

The role involves meticulous documentation and both independent and team work within a 37.5-hour week. Ideal candidates have a WOSTEP or equivalent diploma and 3–4 years bench experience on luxury watches, with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on timepieces to Bremont specifications.
• Use state-of-the-art tools in a fully equipped workshop.
• Conduct quality control checks to Bremont standards.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all services performed.
• Work confidently alone or in a team; demonstrate analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Provide quick repairs (bracelet/strap) and partial repairs to approved levels.
• Complete service ranges: hand-wound mechanicals, simple automatics, chronographs and small complications.

KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Are you a skilled watchmaker with a proven track record servicing luxury watches, come and join our exceptional Bremont service centre atelier team in the heart of Henley-on-Thames and become part of the operation dedicated to precision and craftsmanship, servicing timepieces. Our Bremont service centre is renowned for delivering unparalleled service to clients worldwide who demand only the best. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality and expertise, aligning with the legacy of English watchmaking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on timepieces to Bremont specifications.

• Use state-of-the-art tools and equipment provided within our fully equipped workshop.

• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets Bremont standards.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all services performed.

• Work confidently alone or within a team environment, leveraging strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Represent the company at events when required, offering expert watchmaking and technical insight

• Deliver quick repair solutions, including strap and bracelet services, while performing partial interventions appropriate to approved technical levels.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with problem solving techniques.

• The ability to remain calm and focussed when under pressure.

• Provide repairs: Quick repairs when required (bracelet /Strap services-adjustments etc.) Partial repairs to the given level.

• Complete service - Hand-wound mechanicals and simple automatics.

• Complete service - Chronographs and small complications

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Education Preferred WOSTEP or similar diploma in watchmaking.

• Experience Minimum 3-4 years bench experience.

• Proven experience working on luxury timepieces.

• Strong understanding of horological principles and techniques.

• A passion for luxury watches and craftsmanship.

• Self-motivated.

• Dexterity, meticulous attention to detail and exemplary organisational skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• 37.5 Hour per week

• Monday - Friday Onsite, The Wing, Henley-on-Thames

• Working autonomously, in a team technical team of 10 and wider department of 15.

• Probation process - 4 months standard

• Notice period - 2 months standard, increasing to 3 months after 2 years' service.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Stage 1

In person interview with Service Atelier Manager and Head of Customer Service Operations

Timed bench test, including the disassembly, cleaning and servicing of a 3 handed movement.

Please allow one full day to conduct the interview and bench test.

Location: The Wing, Henley-on-Thames.
