Job summary

Northumbrian Water Group is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Works Manager for Washington. You will lead and develop teams responsible for Derwent Valley Wastewater Treatment Works, pumping stations and related assets, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations.

You will drive training, performance culture, and effective resource planning to meet environmental and quality standards while supporting NWL’s medium-term goals and values.

Qualifications

• Experienced leaders who place emphasis on team engagement and development.
• Experience with financial processes and systems relating to capital and revenue.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Committed to safety and health in a complex operating environment.
• Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing as part of a safety-critical role.
• DBS check prior to employment.
