Job summary

United Infrastructure, in partnership with Peter Duffy Ltd, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead wastewater infrastructure projects across the Yorkshire Water AMP8 framework from our Wakefield operations.

You will oversee direct labour and specialist subcontractors, ensure delivery to programme, quality standards, and budget, while maintaining exceptional health, safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager in civil engineering or utility infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience delivering wastewater/utility projects with direct labour and specialist subcontractors.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day construction site operations across wastewater projects.
• Coordinate direct labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Ensure works comply with project specs, drawings, programmes and contracts.
• Lead safety briefings, RAMS, site audits and environmental controls.
• Manage site records, inspections, testing, and handover documentation.
