Job summary

United Infrastructure is recruiting several Site Managers to lead on-site delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from our Wakefield office. The role oversees site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget adherence while coordinating with engineers and clients.

You will drive risk management, maintain daily logs, inspect works, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site management, preferably in water.
• Proven track record of delivering infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Supervise day-to-day operations on site and coordinate milestones.
• Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and audits.
• Team Leadership: Manage site personnel and subcontractors with inductions and toolbox talks.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor workmanship and maintain site records and reports.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities; attend site meetings.
