Job summary

Matchtech Group has a client seeking a Site Manager to support Yorkshire Water AMP8 wastewater infrastructure projects across the Yorkshire region. The role involves managing site operations on pipelines, sewer networks, diversions and mains, on a contract basis and within roughly an hour of York including Leeds, Sheffield, Hull or North/East Yorkshire.

You will lead site teams, supervise subcontractors, coordinate construction activities, ensure compliance with designs and programmes, and

Qualifications

• Site Manager experience in civil engineering or water sector.
• Knowledge of wastewater infrastructure and sewer networks.
• SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site activities across wastewater and civil projects.
• Supervising subcontractors, site teams and delivery partners.
• Coordinating construction activities for pipelines, diversions and mains.
• Ensuring works meet designs, programmes and specs.
• Maintaining health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Monitoring progress and implementing effective solutions.
• Liaising with project managers, engineers and clients.
