Job summary

Peter Duffy Limited, part of United Infrastructure, seeks a managerial professional to support multiple civil and construction sites across the UK. The role focuses on delivering wastewater and utility projects with strong client and supplier relationships, safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will lead project delivery for Yorkshire Water AMP8 capital works, overseeing planning, risk, cost control and reporting while mentoring colleagues and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• CSCS/ IOSH/ CPCS cards required.
• SMSTS qualification with 2+ years' experience.
• Knowledge of temporary works and registers.
• Experience with lift operations.
• Knowledge of deep excavations and shaft construction.
• Understanding of CDM regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 and MS Project.
• Full UK driving license.
• Proven ability to manage multiple civils/construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects and contracts, ensuring financial and commercial targets are met.
• Deliver services to clients as project opportunities arise.
• Ensure contracts are delivered safely, to quality and within programme and cost.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and supplier networks.
• Promote safety culture across all projects to achieve zero-harm.
• Lead site teams through delivery lifecycle and manage reporting.
• Maintain project tools: risk registers, programmes, inspections.
