Job summary

Ipsum Utilities Limited is actively seeking an experienced Waste Pump Engineer to service and maintain wastewater pumping equipment across client sites in the Greater London area. You will diagnose faults, install new installations and work with customers to ensure reliable, compliant operation.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of pump systems, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experienced engineer with wastewater pumping knowledge.
• Able to work independently while delivering great customer service.
• Willing to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install wastewater pumping stations and equipment
• Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose faults and repairs to pump systems
• Commission new installations
• Work on pump stations and treatment assets
• Attend breakdowns and call-outs
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Ensure work is safe and compliant with regulations
• Liaise with customers and provide technical advice
• Support safe and efficient operation of assets
