Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Wastewater Networks Technical Specialist to lead modelling and technical analysis across catchments, spanning from Principal to Specialist level within a high-profile environmental programme.

You will analyse wastewater catchment performance, run scenarios, and guide technical solutions while engaging the supply chain and stakeholders. A degree in engineering and strong data skills are essential; a flexible hybrid work pattern is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree-level engineering qualification (BEng or MSc) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with analytical tools (InfoWorks ICM, SQL, R, GIS) and data analysis.
• Desirable hydraulic modelling experience and ability to challenge solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse wastewater catchment performance and model scenarios.
• Review and design technically feasible interventions for the AMP8 programme.
• Provide technical assurance of benefits and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and external partners.
