Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking an experienced Wastewater Maintenance Service Engineer to inspect, service and commission a wide range of wastewater assets to keep our residents safe, compliant and with reliable services.

Based in Sittingbourne, the role requires travelling to residential and communal properties across our area to carry out preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and emergency repairs with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and commissioning across our wastewater assets.
• Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on pumping stations and treatment plants.
• Responding to emergency repairs and environmental incidents to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and operational.
• Undertaking drainage investigations and repairs within residents’ homes, communal areas and neighbourhoods.
• Supporting tanker operations, sewage waste removal activities, asset inspections and minor refurbishment works when required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and commissioning across our wastewater assets.

• Supporting tanker operations, sewage waste removal activities, asset inspections and minor refurbishment works when required.
