Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a design professional based in Worsley to deliver high-quality wastewater designs supporting UK utility contracts. You will work with a collaborative team to produce safe, compliant infrastructure solutions and contribute to a diverse project portfolio.

You will contribute across all design phases, attend client meetings, and ensure CDM 2015 compliance while maintaining budget and schedule. A competitive salary and full benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications desirable but substantial experience may count.
• Experience in the water industry on wastewater projects.
• Proven wastewater, CSOs, stormwater management experience.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry practices and identify new design approaches.
• Develop high-quality concepts and iterate with stakeholders.
• Handle all design phases from setup to construction administration.
• Collaborate with internal and client design teams and external consultants.
• Provide technical design support to the design team.
• Respond to issues with clients and subcontractors.
• Represent the company at pre-design and walk-off meetings.
• Undertake site investigation reports and CDM documentation.
• Ensure CDM 2015 compliance throughout design.
• Update H&S file through project stages and keep it current.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings per asset design standards.
• Create plan and longitudinal drawings to meet client specs.
• Prepare private land notice plans as per processes.
• Liaise with client to keep design and construction on plan and updated.
• Work with PM/Operations/Design Manager to stay within budget and time constraints.
