Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a wastewater design engineer to join our Exeter-based team, supporting UK utility contracts. You will deliver high-quality wastewater designs, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

The role emphasizes developing concepts, coordinating across internal and external teams, and guiding design through all project phases with a focus on CDM 2015 compliance. A strong background in water projects is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in the water industry and wastewater projects is essential.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and related safety standards is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry practices and identify new design approaches.
• Develop concepts and collaborate on iterations and design with stakeholders.
• Lead design phases from setup to construction administration.
• Coordinate with client teams and external consultants on projects.
• Provide technical design support to the team and resolve issues.
• Prepare site investigation reports and CDM documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with CDM 2015 and client standards.
• Produce design drawings and as-laid drawings using AutoCAD.
