Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited is seeking a Wastewater Designer for our Design team based in Worsley. You will produce high-quality wastewater designs while collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver compliant, cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

You’ll work across all design phases from setup to construction administration, develop concepts, and ensure CDM 2015 compliance. A background in water industry projects, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong analytical

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications desirable, but good experience considered.
• Experience in the water industry on wastewater projects.
• Proven experience in wastewater, CSOs, stormwater management and wastewater networks.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering specifications for water industry.
• CDM 2015 knowledge.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to mentor less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry practices and identify trends.
• Develop high-quality wastewater design concepts with iterative feedback.
• Work on all design phases from project setup to construction administration.
• Collaborate with internal and client design teams and external consultants.
• Provide technical design support to the design team.
• Respond to issues with clients, third parties and subcontractors.
• Represent the company in pre-design and walk-off meetings with clients.
• Conduct site investigations and complete CDM documentation.
• Ensure CDM 2015 compliance throughout the design process.
• Produce and update H&S files and AutoCAD drawings to client standards.
• Create plan and longitudinal drawings meeting client specs.
• Produce private land notice plans as required.
• Coordinate with PMO/Operations/Design Managers to stay within budget/time.
