Lanes Group is seeking a Field Technician based in Samlesbury to support United Utilities on reactive sewer network contracts. You will work a shift pattern (8am-6pm and 12pm-10pm) with weekends and bank holidays. The role involves CCTV, jetting, and civils tasks, with a base salary of £34,269 to £38,542 depending on experience and overtime at time-and-a-half.

HGV Class 2 is desirable; training can be provided. You will access data via a laptop/tablet and follow safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (C) is desirable or required.
• NRSWA (Sign, Lighting, Guarding) knowledge.
• High pressure water jetting experience or training.
• Medium risk confined spaces awareness.
• Emergency First Aid at work.
• Manual handling awareness.
• EUSR National Water Hygiene certification.
• CPC certification.

Responsabilités

• Clean, camera and inspect sewers under United Utilities guidance.
• Inform customers about works and timelines.
• Inspect drainage systems for blockages, leaks or damage.
• Perform high-pressure water jetting operations.
• Operate jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Carry out CCTV inspections as required.
• Use laptop/tablet for data entry.
• Report safety issues per company procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance of jetting equipment.
