Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a proactive team member to operate plant and assist in daily waste/recyclables handling at a busy material transfer station in Greater London. You will help with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and customer-facing duties while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

The role requires flexibility for cover during leave and weekends, with opportunities for personal development and benefits. A positive team environment and clear processes are provided to support your work.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a site operation or waste/recycling environment is desirable.
• Strong health and safety awareness and safe working practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic IT skills and ability to record information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and fixed plant and maintain equipment.
• Manage site traffic and guide tipping vehicles.
• Operate the weighbridge and record vehicle weights accurately.
• Ensure health, safety, and welfare duties are met on site.
