Job summary

HelloFresh in Derby is seeking a Production Operative to support waste sortation and maintain rigorous health, safety and food safety standards. You will work to ensure accurate waste disposal, operate related machinery, and keep areas clean while following SOPs.

The role requires warehouse experience and the ability to handle full product ranges with PPE compliance. Shifts include nights with a 20% uplift; ideal candidates have GCSEs in Maths and English and strong teamwork and time management

Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English.
Experience in a warehouse, preferably in the food industry.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

Maintain health and safety compliance and report concerns to line manager.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and instructions.
Ensure accurate waste sortation and disposal per guidelines.
Identify correct pallet locations and staging areas to maximise accuracy and efficiency.
Operate waste process machinery (pallet wrap, conveyors, compactors) and keep areas clean.
Ensure waste equipment is available and returned to its location after use.
Maintain hygiene and PPE standards to prevent contamination.
Handle a full range of HelloFresh products with care where required.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
