Avanti Personnel Limited is recruiting for Sorting Operatives on behalf of a waste management client in Tees Valley. The role involves fast-paced conveyor-based sorting of household waste into recyclables. Night and day shifts are available, with varying start times.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team to hit daily targets. Temporary, shift-based work with a focus on efficient sorting processes.

Qualifications

Job description

Avanti Personnel are currently recruiting for Sorting Operatives on behalf of a client who is a leading provider of waste management solutions committed to environmental sustainability.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team on a temporary basis. With opportunities available for both night shift and day shift.

As a sorting operative, you will be required to work in a fast paced environment sorting through household waste into appropriate recyclable materials. Please note this is an opportunity working from a fast moving conveyor system.

• Recycling Sorting: Working in a team to sort the recyclable materials on a conveyor system.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Site Maintenance: Keeping work areas clean and organised, including sweeping, litter picking, and maintaining waste containers.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with other team members to achieve daily operational targets and goals.

Days – Monday to Friday 7am till 5:30, 3:30 Early finish on a Friday. Nights – Tuesday to Friday 5:45pm till 6:15am. Nights and Days available.
