Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Recycling Operative in Chesterfield on a long-term, full-time basis. This role is physically active within a recycling environment, with training opportunities and potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

You will sort and process recyclables, remove non-conforming items, assist with loading and unloading, maintain a clean workspace, and follow health and safety procedures on site. Fixed day shifts, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 16:30.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management or recycling or manufacturing environment.
• Able to work fixed day shifts (Mon-Fri).
• Physically able to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.

This is a physically active role in a recycling environment with the opportunity for training and a permanent position as a Recycling Operative for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Able to work Monday to Friday on fixed day shifts.
• Good physical fitness for manual work, lifting and standing for long periods.
• Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience within a Waste Management & Recycling or Manufacturing and Production environment.
• Previous experience as a Recycling Operative, waste, warehouse or production is an advantage but not essential.

Role Information

• Location: Chesterfield.
• Days: Monday to Friday.
• Hours: 06:00 - 16:30.
