Serco is seeking a Refuse and Recycling Loader in Basingstoke to join a dedicated team delivering a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. The role supports community cleanliness and customer service delivery within standard hours, with occasional Saturday and bank holiday work during Christmas catch ups.

You’ll be part of a professional team, contributing to high standards and a safe, sustainable environment for the community.

Qualifications

• Physically fit due to nature of work.
• Dedicated, friendly and professional team player; punctuality is important.
• Willing to go the extra mile on rounds to help team hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-planned route with the driver and loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• Be the public face of Serco in the community.
• Contribute to keeping the area beautiful, safe and a clean place to live and work.
