The post holder would be expected should the need arise to provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
Based at the above siteand providing an efficient day to day Portering service for patients, service users transferring patients and all manner of stock items to and from all departments across the site.
Portering Services provides 24 hours, 7 day a week, 365 days a year service across all trust sites. The successful candidates will have good numeracy and communication skills, a reliable worker and be flexible in their availability to work all manner of shifts in any 24-hour period.
Previous experience of working in a similar environment would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.

As a member of the site porter team, you will be primarily responsible for the removal of waste from all areas within the Trust. However, you may be asked to undertake a wide range of duties as directed by the Porter Supervisors / Hotel Services Officers, if service levels require this.
