Job summary

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is recruiting a Waste Management Operative - Loader in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The role involves working in a small team to collect refuse, food waste, dry recycling and garden waste across the borough, following health and safety procedures.

You will be part of a front-line service, required to be physically fit and to deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining council standards. The post is a permanent full-time role with 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to walk long distances daily, move wheeled bins, containers or sacks as required.
• High levels of customer service are essential for this frontline role.

Waste Management Operative - Loader

Salary: £26,016 up to £27,274 per annum pro rata
Grade: 3
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Contract: Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, full time

About the role

We currently have a vacancyfor a Waste Management Operative - Loader within our Waste Management Team.
Your role will include working as part of a small team collecting waste across various waste streams, such as refuse, food waste, dry recycling or garden waste across borough.
