Job summary

CSG is hiring for a full-time driver in Aylesford. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, collect non-hazardous waste, and support customers with a high standard of service. The role includes overtime, occasional nights away, and training in health and safety.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence is required.
• Previous driving experience and Digi-card possession.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to handle paperwork with basic written and numerical tasks.
• Flexible approach to the role and willingness to work varying shifts.
• Experience in the waste sector is a plus and training is provided.
• Basic IT skills; some work is on a handheld tablet.

Responsibilities

• Collect non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 vehicle.
• Daily duties include some heavy lifting.
• Occasional night outs with night out payment.
• Advise and communicate with customers.
• Average 40 hours per week plus overtime.
• Complete driver paperwork accurately and on time.
• Raise issues with Line Manager promptly.
• Deliver outstanding service and maintain customer loyalty.
