CIRCA Waste is seeking a driver to cover client sites across London, loading waste and transporting it for reuse, recycling or disposal. You will perform vehicle checks, plan routes taking ULEZ into account, and ensure clear client communication. You must keep accurate transfer notes and obtain written approval before extra work.
The role requires a full UK driving licence and willingness to work some weekends; this is a permanent position after probation with salary discussions post-probation.
You will be the face of CIRCA Waste on the road. You will drive to client sites across London, load waste safely, and take it to the right place for reuse, recycling or disposal. A typical day: 1. Start of shift, vehicle walkaround check, load-securing kit and tools. 2. Plan your route, allow for London traffic, ULEZ and congestion zones. 3. Arrive early, aim for 15 minutes before each job. Call the client on arrival. 4. Provide customer service, listen, ask questions, load safely and stack efficiently. 5. Keep records, complete waste transfer notes. Get the client's written OK before any extra work or cost. 6. Close, thank the client and confirm the job with the Operations Manager.
