WasteRecruit Ltd is seeking reliable, customer-focused drivers to collect waste from homes and businesses across Wellinborough, Cambridge and Waltham Cross areas. You will drive a company van kept at home, complete scheduled collections, and report to the office via a mobile device.

This role values independence, safety and strong communication with customers. No experience in waste is required as full training is provided.

Qualifikationen

Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for reliable and customer-focused drivers to collect waste from homes and businesses across the following areas: Wellinborough / Corby (NN postcode), Cambridge (CB postcode), Waltham Cross / Cheshunt (EN postcode).

You will work independently, driving a modern company van that you keep at home. Your daily route and jobs will be provided through a company mobile device, with support available from the office throughout the day.

• Take photographs and update job records
• Carry out basic vehicle checks
• Communicate with the office in a timely manner

What you'll need

• Full UK driving licence
• Suitable parking for the van at home
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Confidence working independently
• Ability to undertake regular lifting and loading
• A reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach

Waste collection is physical work and can sometimes be dirty, awkward or outdoors in poor weather. Working days may start early and finishing times can vary depending on traffic and the scheduled collections. It is a team oriented and supportive environment that values and rewards hard work.

Previous experience of driving vans is not essential but preferable.

No previous waste experience is required, as full training will be provided.
