Job summary

Lyreco UK and Ireland is seeking a Washroom Service Operative based on a field service model in the Lancaster/Morecambe area. You will manage your day, visit customer sites and maintain clean, safe washrooms across workplaces.

You’ll perform vehicle checks, complete service schedules, and ensure paperwork is signed off while following H&S rules. A DBS check is required and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
• Ability to organise and plan their own workload.
• Standalone role requiring you to work under your own initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional and diplomatic when dealing with customers.
• Candidate will be subjected to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all paperwork for services/products delivered or returned goods are checked and signed off.
• Perform daily vehicle checks prior to starting customer service visits.
• Complete all service schedules allocated by Service Support Administrator.
• Adhere to all H&S requirements, monitor Working Time Directives (WTD) and Driving Time Directives (DTD).

Hours: 45hpw, Monday to Friday

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible difference to our customers every day, taking pride in providing a reliable, high-quality service they can depend on.

• Ensure all paperwork for services/products delivered or returned goods are checked and signed off
• Perform daily vehicle checks prior to starting customer service visits
• Complete all service schedules allocated by Service Support Administrator
• Adhere to all H&S requirements, always including manual handling of goods, monitor working hours to ensure compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) and Driving Time Directives (DTD)

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Ability to organise and plan their own workload
• This is a standalone role where you will be required to work under your own initiative.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
• An ability to remain professional and diplomatic whilst dealing with customers.
• The successful candidate will be subjected to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
