Job summary

Lyreco Group is hiring a Washroom Service Operative to join the Washrooms team covering Lancaster/Morecambe/Lake District. You’ll be out on the road, managing your own day and delivering essential cleaning and hygiene services to workplaces.

This permanent full-time role offers a structured route, daily vehicle checks, and the chance to build relationships with customers while following health and safety guidelines. A driving licence is essential and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
• Ability to organise and plan workload.
• Standalone role; work under own initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional and diplomatic with customers.
• DBS check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Ensure paperwork for services/products delivered or returned goods is checked and signed off.
• Perform daily vehicle checks before visits.
• Complete all service schedules allocated by Service Support Administrator.
• Adhere to H&S requirements including manual handling and time directives (WTD/DTD).

What you'll be doing

You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible difference to our customers every day, taking pride in providing a reliable, high-quality service they can depend on.

• Ensure all paperwork for services/products delivered or returned goods are checked and signed off
• Perform daily vehicle checks prior to starting customer service visits
• Complete all service schedules allocated by Service Support Administrator
• Adhere to all H&S requirements, always including manual handling of goods, monitor working hours to ensure compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) and Driving Time Directives (DTD)

What we're looking for

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Ability to organise and plan their own workload
• This is a standalone role where you will be required to work under your own initiative.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
• An ability to remain professional and diplomatic whilst dealing with customers.
• The successful candidate will be subjected to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
