Job summary

Lyreco is seeking an experienced HGV Driver with ADR to join the Telford team. Based at our Telford site, you will deliver products safely and efficiently to customers across the UK, including overnight stays and bulk loads from the Telford operation.

You will operate a company HGV in compliance with UK laws and Lyreco procedures, maintain safety checks, and provide a professional, customer-focused service at every delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (HGV C+E) driving licence.
• Valid ADR licence appropriate to the role.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Lyreco HGV vehicle in line with legislation and Lyreco procedures.
• Deliver to customers across the UK with national coverage.
• Deliver additional bulk loads from the Telford site.
• Complete overnight deliveries/stays when required.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service at every delivery.
• Comply with ADR requirements when transporting applicable goods.

HGV Driver (ADR)

Location: Telford
Salary: £38,495.64
Hours: Monday – Friday

Contract: Permanent

At Lyreco, we’re about empowering people to create great – and we’re looking for an HGV Driver with ADR Licence to join our Telford team.

Based at our Telford site, you’ll play an important role in delivering products safely and efficiently to customers across the UK. The role will involve national coverage, including some overnight stays, as well as the delivery of additional bulk loads from our Telford operation.

What you’ll be doing

As an HGV Driver, you’ll be responsible for:

• Safely operating a company HGV vehicle in line with all relevant legislation and Lyreco procedures.
• Making deliveries to customers across the UK, with the flexibility to undertake national coverage.
• Delivering additional bulk loads from our Telford site.
• Completing some overnight deliveries/stays as required by the operation.
• Ensuring all goods are transported, handled and delivered safely and securely.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Completing all relevant delivery documentation accurately.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at every delivery.
• Complying with ADR requirements when transporting applicable goods.
• Working collaboratively with the wider transport, warehouse and distribution teams.
• Representing Lyreco and our values positively while out on the road.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious and customer-focused professional who has:

• A valid Class 1 (HGV C+E) driving licence.
• A valid ADR Licence appropriate to the role.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• Experience in HGV driving and a good understanding of UK road networks.
• A professional and positive approach to customer service.
• The flexibility to undertake national deliveries and overnight stays when required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider team.
