Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Warrington. We welcome graduates, sports coaches and individuals with experience with young people who can manage groups and contribute to a supportive classroom environment.

Roles range from flexible daily supply to longer-term placements, with options for full-time or part-time work across Warrington’s secondary schools. A healthcare-like approach and positive guidance are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication skills for effective pupil interaction.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour and expectations.
• Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson activities and instructions.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining clear expectations.
• Ensuring pupils stay engaged and on task.
• Supporting pupils with the work provided.
• Following safeguarding and behaviour policies.
• Providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Covering different curriculum subjects and year groups.
