Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Warrington, Cheshire. Roles include flexible daily supply and longer-term placements with both full-time and part-time patterns.

No Qualified Teacher Status is required, just experience with young people and confidence in managing groups. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes when teachers are absent, following pre-prepared work and maintaining a positive learning environment while adhering to

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Confident in managing groups and communicating effectively.
• Willing to work across different subjects and year groups.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Provide satisfactory professional references.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson activities and instructions.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain clear expectations.
• Ensure pupils stay engaged and on task.
• Support pupils with the work provided.
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Cover different curriculum subjects and year groups.
