Job summary
MBDA UK Limited is seeking a Warheads Engineer to join the Complex Warhead Centre of Excellence (CW CofEx) in the Warhead Modelling & Simulation Group. You will conduct concept analysis, design evolution and performance assessments across a varied portfolio, collaborating with colleagues in the UK and France, customers, partners and suppliers across Europe to support MBDA warhead programmes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or physics and strong modelling capabilities, with
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in engineering or physics (or related field).
- Experience with modelling of complex systems and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to present technical concepts to varied audiences, written and verbally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct concept analysis, design evolution and performance assessment.
- Support design development programmes with UK/France teams and external partners.
- Produce performance predictions and manage work packages and subcontracts.
- Assist in progress reporting, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
