Job summary

White Recruitment Construction is seeking a hands-on Trainer to join a busy warehouse operation in Hinckley. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day training, welcoming new starters and delivering operational training.

The role focuses on upskilling staff, training audits, and creating materials while collaborating with QEHS and management to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/logistics experience is essential.
• Experience delivering training, coaching or inductions desirable.
• Passionate about developing people and building a career in Training.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Hands-on – comfortable on the warehouse floor.
• Understanding of health & safety and operational processes.

£30,000 – £32,000
Monday to Friday | 12:00 – 20:30 | Hinkley

Are you passionate about training and developing people and looking to build a career in Training within a logistics environment?

We’re looking for a hands-on Trainer to join a busy warehouse operation of around 100-200 employees. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who wants to move into, or further develop, a career in Training and Learning & Development.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day training across the site, including:

• Welcoming and inducting new starters (typically 3-4 employees at a time).
• Delivering manual handling and operational training.
• Providing upskilling and refresher training to existing employees.
• Carrying out training audits and maintaining accurate records.
• Creating and managing training plans and materials.
• Monitoring training progress and ensuring training remains effective and relevant.
• Working closely with the Operational Management Team and QEHS to support operational and safety standards.

About You

• Warehouse/logistics experience is essential.
• Previous experience delivering training, coaching or inductions is highly desirable.
• Passionate about developing people and building a career in Training.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Practical and hands-on – comfortable working directly with employees on the warehouse floor.
• Understanding of health & safety and operational processes.
