Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager for the 21:30-06:00 shift. You will lead a warehouse team, ensure safe, efficient operations and drive performance. You’ll coach staff, manage recruitment, absence and safety while communicating clearly to achieve targets and excellent service.

We value safety, team engagement and delivery of KPI goals. The role offers a supportive benefits package and opportunities to grow within the fast-paced Bidfood warehouse network.

• Coach and develop the warehouse team to reach full potential.

AsWarehouse Team Manager, you’ll work as part of a team responsible for managingthe operations, warehouse and most importantly… the people! You’ll really ‘get’the value in recognising good work in the team and making sure they aremotivated will be your priority! You’ll lead the team putting safety at theforefront and working towards shared goals of delivering the best service!

Someof the key parts of the role

• Coaching the team to reach their full potential
• Communicating openly and consistently, delivering keymessages to the team at the right time
• Managing recruitment, absence, performance conduct safetyand service.
• Allocating work considering individual/team capabilityand legal driving hours to achieve targets
• Carrying out good quality investigations

You’llmake sure all goods are picked, numbered and stocked safely and efficientlythrough managing the team. You’ll take charge of looking after companyequipment making sure it is maintained and organised to reach maximumproductivity levels.
