Job summary

Bidfood UK is looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to lead a fast-paced warehouse and its people. You will drive safety, performance and service, while building strong relationships across the team to meet shared goals.

You will coach staff, manage recruitment and performance, allocate workloads fairly, and conduct investigations as needed, always promoting Bidfood's values and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent people management skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills across all levels and departments.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPI targets.
• Experience with warehouse health and safety regulations and audits.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly.

AsWarehouse Team Manager, you’ll work as part of a team responsible for managingthe operations, warehouse and most importantly… the people! You’ll really ‘get’the value in recognising good work in the team and making sure they aremotivated will be your priority! You’ll lead the team putting safety at theforefront and working towards shared goals of delivering the best service!

Someof the key parts of the role:

• Coaching the team to reach their full potential
• Communicating openly and consistently, delivering keymessages to the team at the right time
• Managing recruitment, absence, performance conduct safetyand service.
• Allocating work considering individual/team capabilityand legal driving hours to achieve targets
• Carrying out good quality investigations
