Job summary

Advanced Supply Chain Bradford is seeking a proactive Team Manager to lead and develop a nightshift team from 10pm to 6:15am, Monday to Friday. The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000–£40,000) and a structured development plan with training and clear career growth opportunities.

You will report to the Operations Managers, supporting Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team and providing ongoing coaching and guidance.
• Familiar with using and operating an in-house Warehouse Management System.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Solid knowledge of Health and Safety in a warehouse and distribution environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to stay engaged, organized and motivated.
• Ensure adherence to customer service level agreements and drive exceptional service.
• Be responsible for all key operational processes and procedures in your area.
• Ensure safety and incident reporting in line with H&S regulations.
• Analyse data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement projects within the department and site.

About the role

Here at Advanced Supply Chain Bradford, we are looking to welcome a Team Manager on a permeant full-time basis working across our nightshift working 10pm - 6:15am Mon- Fri. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 along with a structured development plan that includes training, mentorship, and clear opportunities for career growth within our organisation.

As our Team Manager, you will report directly into our Operation Managers and will be helping to support them and the wider team by managing the Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives, making sure they remain engaged, organised and motivated. Our Team Manager will be driving and delivering on our expectations, making sure your department are meeting agreed customer service level agreements to allow us to continue delivering exceptional services for our customers.

• Understand, and be responsible for all key operational processes and procedures in your area
• Ensure adherence to all H&S regulations - reporting any incidents and near misses via the correct channel
• Analyse data, establish root cause and put in place correct measures, escalating any issues to management team in a timely manner
• Ensure your team have all equipment/training necessary to work productively, supporting and sharing best practice to exceed targets and remain efficient
• Full responsibility for performance management of team, focusing on wellbeing, absence, and performance
• Participate in department and site projects and drive continuous improvement

What we need from you
