Job summary

Bidcorp is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Manager to lead a fast-paced operation. You will oversee a team of 20+ operatives and drivers, drive safety, efficiency, and service levels, and coordinate goods-in, replenishment and putaway. This role requires strong HR, IT, and communication skills to sustain a “one team” culture.

You will manage shifts across a 5/7 pattern, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. A hands-on leader with a safety-first mindset will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team of 20+ people.
• Proven ability to optimise throughput and meet daily targets.
• Reach Truck and PPT experience required or preferred.
• RTITB Trained certification is an advantage.
• Strong HR, communication and IT skills are essential.

Warehouse Team Manager

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Manager to join our warehouse operation and help drive performance, safety and service standards across the site.

This is a fast-paced role where you will lead by example, support operational teams and ensure the warehouse runs safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

Shift Pattern

Any 5 days out of 7, to include weekends. 45 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate warehouse operatives and MHE drivers to achieve operational targets
• Ensure high standards of health & safety, housekeeping and pallet safety are maintained at all times
• Monitor productivity, workflow and service levels across the shift
• Support goods in, replenishment and putaway.
• Carry out team briefs, recruitment, investigations, return to works, and performance conversations
• Drive a strong “one team” culture aligned to Bidfood values: Care, Share, and Dare
• Coach and develop colleagues to improve performance and capability
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, food safety standards and operational controls
• Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth warehouse flow and customer satisfaction
• No matter what you’re doing, you’ll always be promoting and managing all safety

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience leading a team of 20 +
• Proven history of optimising and leading a team towards daily targets.
• Reach Truck and PPT experience.
• RTITB Trained (preferred)
• Highly Organised
• Great HR Skills
• Strong IT Skills
• Experience within FMCG, logistics, or food distribution preferred
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety standards
• Experience using warehouse management systems is advantageous
• Flexible approach to shifts and operational needs
• Positive attitude with a willingness to support the wider operation
