Job summary

Walker Cole International is recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader in Wales to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, drive safety, quality and continuous improvement across the site.

You will lead and develop warehouse teams, manage stock control and cycle counts, oversee inbound/outbound processes and ensure GMP/HSE compliance.

This role offers the opportunity to shape operations during a period of growth and work with stakeholders across supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Experience supervising or coordinating operational teams.
• Experience in regulated environments with safety, quality and compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate warehouse teams to achieve objectives while developing team capability.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts and reconciliation.

Walker Cole International is exclusively supporting a growing pharmaceutical organisation in Wales in the search for a Warehouse Team Leader. Your responsibilities as the Warehouse Team Leader will include:

• Leading and motivating warehouse teams to achieve operational and service objectives, while developing team capability through coaching, training and performance support.
• Ensuring inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counting and reconciliation activities.
• Overseeing inbound and outbound warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with GMP, HSE and company procedures.
• Maintaining audit readiness through strong quality, compliance and documentation standards.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and performance, while building effective relationships with stakeholders across operations and supply chain.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience supervising or coordinating operational teams.
• Experience working within regulated environments with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.
• Strong planning, organisation and work scheduling capabilities, with knowledge of storage management, materials movement and logistics processes.
• Confidence leading teams and supporting colleagues' development, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement practical solutions.
