Job summary

Travail Employment Group in Worksop is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join a friendly, supportive team. This hands-on role leads a small team within a clean, well-organised warehouse where quality, teamwork and customer service are key.

You will support the Warehouse Manager and guide a team of three operatives to ensure accurate order fulfilment and stock integrity. The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with scanners, WMS knowledge, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience, including picking with scanners.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Good IT skills and experience using a WMS.
• Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• FLT experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of three operatives and support the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and stock integrity is maintained.
• Maintain high warehouse standards and safety practices at all times.
• Monitor team performance and update the WMS for stock accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound collections.
• Travel to a local partner depot using the company vehicle.

Warehouse Team Leader

Worksop, Permanent, 9am - 5.00pm Mon - Fri

£30-32k DOE

Our Worksop-based client is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their friendly and supportive team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to lead a small team within a clean, organised warehouse environment where quality, teamwork and customer service are key.

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will support the Warehouse Manager while leading and motivating a team of three operatives. You'll ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, stock integrity is maintained and warehouse standards remain high at all times.

Duties include:

• Leading by example and promoting a positive team culture.
• Picking, checking, labelling and packing customer orders using handheld scanners.
• Monitoring team performance and maintaining operational standards.
• Conducting stock checks and updating the WMS to ensure stock accuracy, traceability and compliance.
• Coordinating inbound deliveries and outbound collections.
• Travelling to a local partner depot using the company vehicle.
• Supporting safe working practices, including manual handling and FLT operation.
