Job summary

Culina is seeking a confident Warehouse Team Leader for its Chesterfield operation. You will lead approximately 10 colleagues in VAS/ee-commerce tasks, ensuring productivity, quality, safety and customer service standards. You will support the Shift Manager and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Rotating shifts appear 5 days out of 7, with 37.5-hour weeks. The role rewards effort with a per-hour rate and supplementary pay, alongside a benefits package including pension, life assurance

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience in VAS or e-commerce is advantageous.
• Team leader or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work Sundays or Saturdays during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of around 10 warehouse colleagues across the VAS operation.
• Drive shift performance to meet productivity, service and KPI targets.
• Promote health, safety, hygiene and compliance, ensuring accurate records.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to meet customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and communicate priorities clearly.
• Support goods in and warehouse operations to ensure stock availability.
• Coach and develop team members to maximise performance.
• Support investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes as per procedures.
