Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for the PM shift in Raunds, England. You will lead a team of operatives, coordinate workloads, monitor performance and ensure high standards of quality and productivity within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will manage day-to-day operations, drive safety, and support the management team to achieve business targets. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach in a hands-on setting.

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong people management and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Good IT literacy, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and foster safe working.

What will you be doing?

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll oversee a section of our warehouse, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the management team in achieving business targets. You’ll lead a team of operatives, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

What will you be doing?

• Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
• Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working.
• Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.

About You

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making
• Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
• A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.
