Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in the UK to support the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will lead a team of operatives, ensure safe and accurate movement of stock, and maintain high service levels to meet customer and contractual requirements.

You will promote a strong health, safety and quality culture, comply with procedures and legislation, and contribute to continuous improvement while developing team members for peak performance.

At DSV, we're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to support the efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse operation. You'll play a key role in ensuring products move safely and accurately through the warehouse while inspiring a team to deliver exceptional service, productivity, and compliance standards.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure the safe, accurate and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse.
• Monitor and maintain service levels to meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Promote a strong health, safety and quality culture within the operation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation and warehouse best practices.
• Complete and oversee operational administration and documentation to a high standard.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
• Assist with training and developing team members to maximise performance and engagement.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or contract logistics environment.
• Experience in a supervisory, team leader or senior warehouse operative role.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to motivate others and drive results.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support operational requirements.
• A positive mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
