Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in Heston (TW5 9NB) to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations. The role involves leading a team of operatives, ensuring safe and accurate stock movement, and maintaining service levels for customers and contractual requirements.

We are looking for candidates with warehouse or contract logistics experience, strong communication and people-management skills, and a proactive approach to drive results.

Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Heston, (TW5 9NB)

Shifts: Monday-Friday -Days

At DSV, we're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to support the efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse operation. You'll play a key role in ensuring products move safely and accurately through the warehouse while inspiring a team to deliver exceptional service, productivity, and compliance standards.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure the safe, accurate and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse.
• Monitor and maintain service levels to meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Promote a strong health, safety and quality culture within the operation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation and warehouse best practices.
• Complete and oversee operational administration and documentation to a high standard.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
• Assist with training and developing team members to maximise performance and engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or contract logistics environment.
• Experience in a supervisory, team leader or senior warehouse operative role.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to motivate others and drive results.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support operational requirements.
• A positive mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
