Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is hiring a proactive Warehouse Team Leader for our Hull manufacturing facility. You will oversee a team of warehouse operatives across a rotating 3-shift system and help drive throughput, stock accuracy, and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities include coaching the team, managing stock movements, coordinating with transport and production, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Shift flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• In-date mechanical handling equipment licences (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Flexible to work across a rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team to meet operational targets.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities including order picking, goods in/out, and stock movements.
• Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management using internal systems.
• Coordinate deliveries and liaise with transport and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
