Job summary

White Trading Limited is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Leader in Skelmersdale to oversee a busy warehouse floor and drive performance. You will lead up to 30 colleagues, run shift briefings, and ensure accurate goods-in, storage, picking and dispatch to satisfy customers.

The role requires hands-on leadership andflexibility with 4 on/off shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am). Immediate starts offered with weekly pay, full training, and opportunities to upskill.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a team on the floor and drive performance.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 30 people.
• Lead shift briefings and manage staff performance.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, pick accuracy and dispatch to guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.
• Organise daily work plans and ensure equipment availability for your shift.

Location: Role to be located in Skelmersdale

Pay Rate: £13.50 p/h

Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern –7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am.

Contract: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)

Experience: 6 months minimum working in a warehouse – essential

Warehouse Team Leader – the role & responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader who leads by example and can balance leadership duties with active physical participation on the warehouse floor.

You will have experience in and be able to:

• Lead a team of up to 30 people
• Lead shift briefings and manage staff performance
• Oversee goods-in, storage, pick accuracy, and dispatch to guarantee 100% customer satisfaction
• Organise daily work plans and ensuring proper equipment availability for your shift
• Daily coordination with Transport, Stock Control and Admin teams

This role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and willing to learn new skills.

About you:

You must have at least12 months experience working in asimilar role. You will possess strong leadership skills and have experience using Warehouse Management Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
